Status: looking good, a little bit of chill time here.
We've had a couple decent visits to Canberra over the years. It's a nice place but quite different from the other cities. From the air it's quite deceptive due to its layout and abundance of trees throughout the metropolitan area.
If you've not seen this yet, this kid is a gun. Lobbying for the renaming of Canberra airport in honour of Aussie David Warren who was instrumental in the invention of the black box. Please sign the petition.
I had been quite concerned about the possibility of an early morning beverage in Canberra airport, which is in the process of being redeveloped. When I did my initial research it didn't look promising but I'm very pleased to see that an option is available and, not only that, they serve the local brew.
