Mum shouted us dinner tonight for our birthdays. It's about +4 days from bisecting our birthdays.

We had takeaway from Rain (on the Parade); I think the pun was intended.

It's a really great Thai/modern Asian restaurant with excellent quality.

I must admit, I'm still struggling to find an Indian restaurant around here that's within cooee of Tandoori Temptations. Any time Jo heads back out near the old digs she pays TT a visit.

I had one of the dreaded flight change emails come through this afternoon... Luckily it was for a flight unrelated to the mission.

It's getting a little chilly in southern Australia now but we're hitting Darwin for 40ish hours at the start of the mission. And their temperature is still around 35c (95f). So that throws a curve ball at the minimalist packing. We may need 2 x footwear. Yikes.

I haven't been to Darwin for over 10 years and that was for work. It'll be nice to finally have a little look around.
